Ingredients for matar pulao
Rice.......4cup
Mattar .....3 cups
Onion......1 large
Tomatoes.....2
Garlic ginger paste....1 tblespn
6.Green chillies paste .....1/2 tblespn
Spices for matar pulao:
Oil.......4 table spoon
Red chillie flakes.....1 tblespn
Cumin seeds......1 tblespn
Black pepper....7-8
Cloves....4-5
Cinamon stick..1
Bay leave.....1
Black cumin seeds.....1 tspn
Making of mattar pulao:
Take a skillet add oil in it now add Julian cut onion in it and fry untill it's golden brown.then add garlic ginger and green chillies paste and fry it for one minute then add little bit of water in it and add tomatoes in it after adding tomatoes add all spices red chillies flakes,cumin seeds,salt to taste.then fry it well when oil comes out add mattar (peas) in the skillet.then cover it on low flame untill they tender and soft. Other side you should crushed all sabit masalas in a cloth.
After soften them add 7.5 cups of water in mattar gravy and when the water starts boiling then add rice in it add all garam masalas(black pepper,cloves, cinamon,black cumin seeds).now let rice cook on medium flame untill they get soft as our requirements.now put a cloth on skillet cap and cover it on low flame for 5-10 minutes.
The yummy tasty 😋 matar pulao is ready to serve.your can serve it with raita and salad.
